How your baby's growing:
Baby's now the size of a honeydew! She now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies. Also, baby can now recognize and react to simple songs...time to start practicing your lullabies! In fact, baby will recognize frequently sung tunes after birth and probably find them soothing. Less cute news: She now urinates about one pint per day. Get the diapers ready!
And since Hubs hasn't made an appearance on the blog in a while, here we are after dinner and our marathon mall walk on Tuesday night...

OH MY GOODNESS!!! SHE DOES!!!! We have our 3d/4d on Monday...Dave is convinced that she is his replica as well...we shall see!
Believe it or not, he doesn't see the resemblance...even though pretty much everyone else in the world does. He tells us he doesn't know how we can get that much from the picture. Uhm, helloooo, at the very least, that is CLEARLY his nose on her face! I don't know how he can't see that.

I'm pretty sure she has my lips because Logan does and her mouth looks just like his. Hopefully along with Daddy's nose and eyes, she'll also get his nice, toned legs instead of my short, chubby ones!
