Domestic Life

Just a few random photos from this week:

Viv and Daddy watching Yo Gabba Gabba

and snuggling.

Our pretty, pretty princess.

And finally . . .
. . . a rare photo op with Logan (and proof that we didn't sell him to the circus).

Spring Break!!!

On Friday morning we leave for our annual family trip to Orlando! I really hadn't been able to get excited about this year's trip until about a week ago. But now how do you not get excited when you're just a few days (and a crazy long drive) away from sunshine and 90 degree weather? So, I give up. I'm in. And I AM PSYCHED! Why, you ask (aside from the afore-mentioned sun and heat)? Because I just booked a snorkel with the manatees tour!!!
This will be me on Wednesday morning!

Clearly, this is going to be our best Florida trip yet, as long as we don't get attacked or eaten by crocodiles. We aren't going to any of the parks this year, but we do have a few other day trips planned. We're going to head over to Tampa/Clearwater one day to explore the Glazer Children's Museum and frolick in the surf at Sand Key Park.

We're also hoping to be able to stop at the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum on our way down to Orlando on Saturday. It looks pretty awesome and I think Logan would love it!

Otherwise, we're pretty much free-styling this trip. We may play some mini golf or we may just spend a lot of time laying around the pool. It's vacation people, I refuse to plan out every minute. So to my Florida residents or frequent Florida vacationers, any recommendations? Things we must do? Places we must see? I'm open to suggestions.

AND I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

Is this what they mean by "attachment parenting"?

I realized the other day that my family and friends on facebook have probably been wondering if we gave Logan away after Viv was born. I rarely post pictures of him anymore, yet have new pictures of Viv going up all the time. Sadly, my sweet Logan has entered that phase of never wanting to be in pictures. OR he'll let me take approximately 2 pictures before he's over it and off playing somewhere. Usually of the 2 pictures, one is blurry because he never stops moving and the other features Logan with a finger up his nose or a hand down his pants. Not exactly facebook-worthy. And so I continue to post new pictures of my sweet princess who lights up when she sees the camera. It also helps that she's pretty much always attached to me...

Please ignore my creepy bug-eyes. After several picture attempts, I start forcing the smile and this is what you get.
