"The only advantage to glasses . . .

. . . is that you can do that dramatic removal."  - Jim Gaffigan

As of Monday, I officially became a glasses-wearer. Ok, so I don't actually possess any glasses yet, but they have been ordered. And then I ordered 2 more pairs. And there's one more pair that I really, REALLY, really want, but I'm not sure even I can justify owning 5 pairs of glasses. For now anyway. So here are the pretties that will soon be arriving in my mailbox:

So what do you think? Looks like I'll have glasses for every outfit! Now I just have to wait, wait, wait for them to come in! I'm very impatient.

In the meantime, I'll just continue to drool over these glasses that I LOOOOOVE and want so bad . . .

Uhm . . . and these . . .

. . . ok, and these too.

Do you guys remember Lisa Loeb?

Lisa wearing my favorite pair: Everyday

These last 3 frames are from the new Lisa Loeb eyewear collection! There are 13 different styles and each style comes in several different color options. There is a lot of tortoise shell, aqua, lavendar, pink, red, and pistachio. Let me tell you, they are ALL gorgeous! Honestly, it was hard to pick favorites. I'm IN LOVE with several of them but especially the Everyday frame! So in love, in fact, that I called my optometrist this morning to see if it was too late to cancel my order and get the Lisa Loeb frames instead. Sadly, the lenses have already been cut for the glasses I ordered and I'd be charged a 30% restocking fee if I chose to cancel anyway (which would be almost $200!!!) so the beautiful Lisa Loeb frames will not be mine. Maybe I can talk Kyle into buying them for me for my birthday . . . Does wanting new glasses as a gift make me an old lady?
